Provincial example of variant construction.  Gilt bronze, just over 3/4” (0.76”) width. Thin section gilt bronze . The top pierced as made with a modern gilt suspension ring. Lunar pendants were worn as pectorals as well as suspended from belts, other clothing, and horse harnesses. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
