Petite at just over ½” width (0.54”) crescent form, in three stepped ranks with scroll terminals. The upper with textured surface. Probably representing an astrological event, likely an eclipse which was viewed as a clash of the gods with the supernatural wolves, Skoll and Hati, pursuing Sol the sun and Mani the moon. Crisp excellent preservation with the 24karat gold surface restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
