The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Gilt bronze, just over 1 3/4” (1.78”) height with the suspension ring. The cross beam centered with trefoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, commemorating the five wounds of Christ. Raised border to the front and the back flat. Figured circles in the middle and at beam ends representing the five wounds of Christ. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on an 18” Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
