Silvered bronze, over 1 3/8” (1.40”) height of diamond form with symmetrical pierced foliage on a double bar V base. The top formed as a pentagram or star. That shape is uniform and widely used in religious art to represent the star of Bethlehem. The center of the foliage is pierced as five circles, probably a reference to the Medici coat of arms and Florence. The double bar base reinforces the concept of armorial significance. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
