Size 9 ½, 3.6mm width. Silvered bronze, cast with a core which was removed with evidence as lamination remaining the surface hammer was textured overall in random pattern, probably to eliminate lamination. Clearly the work of a poorly skilled founder, but many Viking settlements were very remote and lacked craftsmen with certain skills. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Unique.
