10th-11th century AD. Silvered bronze, size 10 1/4, 6.2mm width, with low rounded face. The top with a slightly raised rectangular bezel. Surface textured from burial. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. Good wearable large size and very form.
