Cambridgeshire England, 9th-11th century AD. Gilt bronze, size 9 1/2. 5.2mm width band with incised medial resulting in a three rank section. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword.
