Fine and rare variation. Gilt bronze, just over 2 3/4” inside dimension. C form, rounded face rectangular section expanding from the middle. The terminals with large rounded rectangular segments. That form is similar to the protective brooches and may be related to celestial bodies, particularly the sun and moon. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored.
