Gilt bronze, just under 2 1/4” (2.23”) in height. Slightly raised edge beams with a scalloped halo and radials at the junction. Central relief vacant cross with the charges and footrest delineated. Reverse plain but for line borders, as with the earliest examples. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare and large early example.
