Gilt bronze, heart form, pierced with a heart. A heart within a heart! The bottom with a cross bar and circle. Combining the old Nordic heart symbol, iconic to Vikings with later Christian or secular symbols, reflecting the place that Viking heritage had in the culture at the time. Surface textured from burial.  Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored, on a modern sterling silver neck chain, for modern wear.
