Particularly large example, just over 1" height, of early elongated form with quartered nubs. Rounded section with plain field. Made by the open mold process. For Vikings, the heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is said Hrungnir, with whom Thor dueled (assisted by a sorceress) had a heart of stone. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on a Sterling silver neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
