The period of the Spanish Inquisition. Bronze, 1 3/4” (1.43”) height finely sculpted in scrolling elements with a cherub face at the top and a crowned (?) face in the middle. In this period, the pendant replaced the brooch as the primary jewelry accessory. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay refreshed, on an 18” gilt silver neck chain for modern wear.
