Iconic elongated cusped heart form with extended bottom and nubs to the middle. Line incised describing a trefoil in the field, a favorite Viking theme. About 3/4” (0.72”) in height plus the loop. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt Sterling silver 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
