Gilt bronze, size 4 ½+. 1.9mm band with rounded face. Mammiform bezel of unmistakable anatomical form, superficially imitating a gemstone and blatantly advertising the intentions of the wearer. Typical size for these as Roman prostitutes were often slaves and very young. Prostitution was practiced openly in ancient Rome.
