15th-16th century AD. Women's size 1 for the small finger, as was the custom. 2.1mm width band with a rounded face, flared to the shoulders. Raised stepped lenticular bezel transversely oriented, cut with chevrons as a signet. See Ancient Rings, Pollio, p.126 bottom. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored.
