Slightly under 1 1/4" height. Early form of elongated naturalistic form, stylized with a central trefoil and quartered nubs. Worn and textured from burial. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored. On modern Sterling silver neck chain, for contemporary wear.
