Over 7/8” height including the suspension loop, with nubs at the quarter points defining a saltire. Framed central raised heart of archaic form. A rounded border swelled at the sides. Made by the open face mold technique. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature.
