Gilt bronze, just over 1” height including the suspension loop. The cross beam above center and the beams expanded toward the terminals in the “Maltese Cross” fashion. The front with a vacant cross with Cyrillic ciphers at the terminals. Reverse with further symbols, abstracted and literal along with ciphers. Some surface texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface renewed, on an 18” gilt neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Elegant and rare early form.
