Gilt bronze, made by the open face mold technique. Just over ¾” (0.76”) height plus the suspension loop. Formed as a heart matching the Viking hearts of a century earlier with elements forming the face of a rugged seafarer. The cusp formed by heavy brows and side locks with bagged eyes above a flaring moustache. The pointed bottom is a beard below the rudimentary mouth. Well detailed with the “hidden” image teasing the mind and taking a second to register on the mind. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored, on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
