Just over 1/2" width (0.54”). Bronze, cast, and chased in detail as the crescent moon with superimposed by two circles and suspended from a horizontal bar. The whole, evidently representing an astrological event, real or mythical. Both sides detailed. Vikings relied on the heavens and celestial bodies for guidance when sailing. The 24karat gold overlay is restored, for modern wear on an 18” modern gilt silver neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
