Iconic broad-waisted heart form with a finely incised heart, matching for form and beaded border. A heart within a heart! Indented sides. Just under ⅞” (0.83”) in height. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Heavily worn from its period of use.
