Classic heart form. over ¾” (0.81”) width. Near flat form incised with a large well-delineated trefoil, a favorite Viking form. The bottom quarter points with nubs perhaps implying a saltire. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature.
