The Dark Ages after the fall of Rome. Size 6 ¾ with 3.8mm rounded face band flaring to the shoulders. Rectangular bezel with rudimentary key bits to both edges and remnants of an inscribed geometric motif to the face. This form is evolved from the Roman key rings of centuries earlier which were worn as prestige jewelry. The implication was that the wearer owned a jewel box when in fact most of the rings were for show only. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
