CELTIC FINGER RING C.7TH-4TH CENTURY BC, SIZE 9
Bronze, made by the lost wax process. A bee’s wax original pattern is encased in the mold material. It is melted out and replaced by the molten bronze which solidifies as an identical replication of the wax pattern. Size 9, of thick circular section with the ends overlapping as typical. One end with light transverse line decoration, probably present on both originally. Professionally refurbished with the pure silver overlay restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
