EASTERN EUROPEAN CHRISTIAN CROSS 17TH-18TH CENTURY

Russia/Ukraine. Gilt bronze, well over 1 1/2" (1.52”) in height. Unusual variation with the cross and other details recessed into the flat face cross. The reverse with remnants of decoration, perhaps calligraphy. Well worn from its period of use and now, professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on a gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear.
