17th-18th Century, Orthodox rite. Silvered bronze. Over 1 3/4” (1.82”) total height. Raised border delineating the cross with broad beams, the cross beam above center and enclosing a stick cross with Cyrillic inscriptions at the terminals. Reverse with a similar cross with Cyrillic inscriptions. The outside edges in flowing baroque elements. Excellent preservation with crisp detail. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored and on an 18" modern Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity.
