Just over 1” (1.07”) height, symmetrical with a square at the junction and incised with an indecipherable figure. The back recessed for the inclusion of a holy relic such as the hair of a saint. These were carried by European Pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land to visit the land where Christ lived and died, and later by Crusaders. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
