MEDIEVAL ENGLISH LADIES RING C.1300 SIZE 1 ¼
Distinctively identifiable style. About size 1 ¼ for the small finger. Rounded face band 2.2 mm at the bottom flaring to the shoulders below high conical bezel decorated in hound’s tooth and set with a “stone” (original and perhaps a gemstone). Corroded overall as found. Straight out of the ground with the attendant verdigris of centuries of burial.
