The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Silvered bronze, just over 1 1/2” height (1.58”) with the suspension ring. The cross beam above center with pentafoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, commemorating the five wounds of Christ. Here, represented with double crutches, the only such example we have encountered. The center with a recessed circle and the back flat. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored, on an 18” modern Sterling silver neck chain. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
