The High Gothic Period following the Crusades. Silvered bronze, over 1 3/8” in height with the suspension ring. The cross beam centered with trefoil beam terminals forming “crutches” from the Jerusalem cross which made it five crosses in one, commemorating the five wounds of Christ. Incised border to the front and the back flat. A circle in the middle. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored on a Sterling silver 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
