Provincial from the south east colonies. The swastika form is near universal to ancient cultures and the horse heads specific to Roman interpretations. Explanations vary, but representing the sun or the seasonal path of the Big Dipper around the North Star are the most popularly accepted. This example is 1 7/8” width with four horse heads, each with ring and dot eye. A further ring and dot at the center.
