Good quality with 2.1mm rounded face band with bottom slightly thickened in the Roman taste, and flaring to the shoulders.  Oval bezel which is engraved in transverse bands enclosing marks serving as a signet, which identified the owner and could be used to seal legal matters. (In Ben Hur, the title character identifies himself by stamping Messala’s tablet with his ring which bears the signet of Quintus Arrius.) Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with Certificate of Authenticity. Rare wearable size.
