Gilt bronze, form which evolved from the earlier Viking heart pendants. Heart shaped uncusped of flat form with foliate trefoil motif. Each of the three elements as a leafy branch. Low relief, showing wear from its working like and surface texture from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
