Bronze, just under 1 ½” (1.44”) with a conical socket mounted with three leaf shaped veins. The base with a side barb. Surface with pure silver on an 18” silver neck chain for modern wear. See European Arrowheads, and Crossbow Bolts, Rau, p.44. The Scythians occupied what is now southern Ukraine. They were skilled mounted archers. The word Scythian is derived from the base word for archers.
