Round, 0.69” inside diameter and 0.85” outside. Low relief roped or coil motif. The use of beard rings by Vikings is well documented though very few genuine examples survive. Larger examples such as this were also worn in the hair, particularly around the ears. Professionally refurbished for modern wear with the silver overlay restored. Could be worn as a ring size 7.
