Round with flat face and flat inside, 0.45” inside diameter and 0.53” outside. The use of beard rings by Vikings is well documented though very few genuine examples survive. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished for modern wear with the 24karat gold overlay restored on an 18” gilt sterling silver neck chain for modern wear.
