Gilt bronze, just under 1” (0.96”) in diameter. Round, the upper 2/3 formed as a spiral. The spiral or helix was a favorite decorative motif and held supernatural significance. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. These were worn on the beard as well as in the hair, particularly above the ears. Rare variation. Corresponds to ring size 10 and could be worn as a ring.
