Gilt bronze, just over 7/8” (0.99”) in diameter. Round, modeled as a spiral tapering from the front, 2.6-2.0mm. The spiral or helix was a favorite decorative motif and held supernatural significance. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity. These were worn on the beard as well as in the hair, particularly above the ears. Rare variation. Corresponds to ring size 8 and could be worn as a ring.
