Just over 7/8” (0.88”) height plus the suspension loop. The Viking heart in its fully developed form with cusp top formed by the terminals of the broad borders. The field with a formalized trefoil or fleur-de-lys with addorsed scrolls above. Thin, rounded section. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt neck chain for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
