Provincial example of variant construction.  Silvered bronze, just OVER 1 1/8” (1.14”) width. Cast silvered bronze with spherical tips to represent Sol the sun and Mani the moon. The top with a suspension loop. Lunar pendants were worn as pectorals as well as suspended from belts, other clothing, and horse harnesses. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the silver overlay restored, on an 18” sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
