VIKING TUBULAR PENDANT NECKLACE, 9TH-11TH CENTURY AD
Over 1 3/8" in length, of elegantly tapered cylindrical form with double raised rounded rings and pierced-shaped terminal. Open butted at the back. With its original suspension ring with the ends overlapping in the Viking taste and as seen on Viking finger rings. These were strung on necklaces along with beds and amulets to provide a little movement as the wearer moved. Excellent preservation. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
