Made by the lost wax process. Gilt bronze, size 9 ¾ with 3.2mm rounded face band and raised heart shaped bezel. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, and integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature as are women warriors. Surface textured from burial. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored for contemporary wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
