Iconic elongated cusped heart form with a waisted bundle, the top extending as drapes, forming the body. This probably represents bound wheat or other grass crops on which Vikings and their animals were dependent. About 3/4” (0.78”) in height plus the loop. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored on a gilt Sterling silver 18” neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
