Charm size. Just under 1/2” (0.48”) height. Well domed section with rounded edges for a robust appearance, in the fully developed form. Made by the open face mold process with the back recessed. For Vikings, the heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the warrior. It is said that Hrungnir, with whom Thor dueled (assisted by a sorceress), had a heart of stone. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for immediate wear. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
