Gilt bronze, size 9 ½-9 3/4 with some slack allowed by the overlapping tip band, characteristic for Viking rings. Shield shaped bezel, bordered, with a double medial flanked by two hound’s tooth symbols, perhaps stylized runes. Stepped expanded shoulders with double bar saltires incised. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
