Gilt bronze, size 6 3/4. 2.1mm width band of rounded section formed as a spiral or roped, with a fine stipple segment alternating with the main twist. See Medieval Jewelry in Europe 1100-1550, V & A Museum, pl.4 for the Fishpool hoard (England and France, 1100-1160) for very similar examples. Fine crisp preservation. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
