Late 9th-early 11th century AD. Good wearable size 6 3/4. Broad flat face, 6.3mm width, hand-decorated with a medial stipple band flanked by lines. Vikings exchanged rings on the pommel of the groom’s sword. Untouched as found with an original repair or resizing. Out of round and surface textured from burial. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
