Gilt bronze. Just over 1” (1.08”) total height. Broad beams with the cross beam centered. Square expansion at the junction. Centrally incised with a cross and saltire. The back plain as with the earliest examples. Carried by Pilgrims to the Holy Land before the Crusades. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored and on an 18” modern gilt Sterling silver neck chain for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift box with Certificate of Authenticity.
