Viking or Frankish showing Viking influence. Gilt bronze, size 8 with 3.6mm rounded face band flaring to the vertically score textured shoulders. Oval bezel with central punch mark and lighter angled hatching. The period of mass conversions to Christianity after Charlemagne’s decree. At the time, decorative symbols were often highly stylized to invoke Pagan intervention without violating Christianity. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with a certificate of authenticity.
