Classic heart form. 7/8" heigh plus the suspension loop. Central high domed heart in its fully evolved with cusped top with beaded surround and stepped base forming a border. The cusp bridged with another forming a pierced heart within a heart! The sixth point is nubbed as common. That feature evidently had spiritual significance, now lost. The heart stood for bravery, fortitude, loyalty, integrity, all attributes of the Viking warrior. It is abundantly referenced in Viking literature. Professionally refurbished with the silver surface restored on a Sterling silver neck chain for modern wear. Gift boxed with certificate of authenticity.
